The complex of three blocks of flats called LightHouse, constructed at the border of Šeškinė and Fabijoniškės districts in Vilnius City, is the first residential complex in Lithuania with the “intelligent home system” fitted, only individual houses had this system installed until then.
All architectural solutions in this project are in conformity with the strict requirements for energy cost-effectiveness of buildings, therefore great attention was focused on the balance between heating saving and openness to light. This determined lots of lattice, transparent elements in the project, which are used in balcony partitions, staircases. Staircases made of separate steps do not stop the natural daylight from coming into the staircases and porches in these blocks. Larger windows with very good thermal insulation properties are mounted in the apartments.
The safety of the fenced territory of the courtyard and the underground parking is ensured by the IP CCTV cameras. The courtyard, staircases and underground parking lot can be accessed by magnetic key.
